Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Spoiler alert)Despite reading the book for numerous of times, I still cried at the chapter when Dumbledore died. Death of Dumbledore was the most important thing to me, so naturally I would focus my attention on all the events that eventually led to his death.
I would recommend people to read up on the book first to get some ideas of how things should feel like in the movie. As usual, the movie didn't follow through the whole story, but it was pretty much understandable.
Perhaps he heard loads of complains from HP fans, so David Yates decided to make this movie as close to the original content as possible.
Anyway, their romance scenes ( Ron, Lavender, Hermonie, HP, Ginny) was too much. Waste of my time. Cheh.
Except pointing out what was not in the movie, there's really nothing much to comment about.
My 2 only disappointments were
a) There was no battle in Hogwarts.
b) They didn't give Dumbledore a proper funeral.
Micheal Gambon finally finally finally perfected his act of Dumbledore.
He was a little too crazy in HP4 then a little too serious in HP5, but in HP6, he showed just how weak and yet still strong Dumbledore was. The kind of Dumbledore I saw from the book.
Thumbs up!
Still, I reckon Richard Harris was still the best Dumbledore. His breathless voice showed his age, weak and frail. Nevertheless I reckoned that he would still look amazingly powerful when he dealt with all the corpses in the cave.
It's one thing if you didn't know what's the next plot, but it's quite another when you know exactly how the story would played out.
My heart started thumping very fast when both Dumbledore and HP entered the cave. It signified that Dumbledore's end was near. Still, despite knowing that the corpses would grab Harry, I still jumped when that happened. Stupid sound effects. Grrr. Mar jumped like a mile higher than me at her seat. Lalala (Yes I must emphasize this too.)
Since I cried when Dumbledore died in story, naturally the tears came when the scene was played too. Especially when the students raised their wands to erase the Dark Mark that was set upon the school.

This was the young Voldermort. I still think they find the wrong kid.
He wasn't as evil, as commanding as I thought he would be.
More importantly, he just looked moody and sullen instead of evil. That was a total turn off.
Though, yes, his skin is flawless.
When he grew up to be the teenage Voldermort, it was even worse.
The hair was so short that his face appeared a tad fat to me.
I couldn't even sense how he tried to charm Prof. Slughorn.

Prof Slughorn. Another disappointment. I expected him to be arrogant, always contented with his collection but never this friendly. He showed the signs of how an old man treat their friends and young ones but failed to establish a proper yet still causal relationship with the students.
Overall it was a 4-4.5stars rating from me.
I wouldn't mind watching it again, because I knew I will still cry over and over again over Dumbledore's death.
